I work as an English<>Polish interpreter and translator. I am self-employed. I issue VAT invoices.

Qualifications

Thanks to the Conference Interpreting Programme (2007-2009) I had an opportunity to do the simultaneous and consecutive interpreting in the following subjects and fields:

I also took a course in professional note-taking for consecutive interpreters. Among other subjects one could find: translation and interpretation strategies, International Organisations (European Union and others) etc. The integral part of the course are also translations (and interpreting) from German into Polish. The students are also obliged to attend Dutch lessons. The programme is training interperters and translators for the European Union institutions.

- interpreting (liaison) for an American exhibitor during a trade show (20th Central European Dental Exhibition);
- interpreting (simultaneous) during a conference in Berlin on new asthma drugs research;  
- interpreting (simultaneous) about safety and transportation issues in the city of Wrocław during 2012 UEFA European Football Championship; 
- interpreting (liaison/consecutive) during a business meeting & service of measuring equipment (tobacco industry);
- translation (medical, genetics) in collaboration with dr G. Witkowski of the European Huntington's Disease Network News (published in .pdf file: September 2009 Issue, December 2009 Issue, March 2010 Issue - to be published soon);
- translation of a book (business psychology, personal growth) by Joe Vitale entitled "Attract Money Now" (to be published);
- translation (politics, international migration law) of a report on refugee status and refugee protection in Poland;

- interpreting (simultaneous) during International Student Conference in Antiquity and Bizantyne Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań;

- interpreting (consecutive) about the retail real estate market in Poznan, investments and preparations for Euro 2012 in Poznan City Hall for the guests from Erasmus University, Rotterdam;
- medical translation about the treatment of severe sepsis for Fundacja Nadzieja as a part of Understand Sepsis Public Awareness Campaign (voluntary work);
- medical translation about diet in Autism Spectrum Disorder for Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Dzieciom z Ukrytymi Niepełnosprawnościami (voluntary work);
